Our client, Department of Education, are currently seeking a Senior Safety Analyst/Advisor for their Infrastructure Services Division for an initial contract until 30/06/2025.
As the Senior Safety Analyst/Advisor you will:
- Provide leadership to support team operations and infrastructure in undertaking high level analysis, design, review and implementation of infrastructure safety related systems, policies, projects and programs of work.
- Provide strategic advice and report to the division executive, senior management and departmental stakeholders across a range of infrastructure safety issues.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and participate in teams involved in the formulation of innovative and workable solutions for infrastructure safety related services.
- Provide high level safety advice to division management and senior executive, Regional Directors and Principals on a broad range of issues.
- Participate and lead a team to develop, implement, maintain and review reporting and assurance frameworks that support the strategic direction of the department for a range of infrastructure safety issues.
- Establish and maintain strategic networks to advance the department's systems and databases to identify, define and analyse best practice approaches to support a range of infrastructure safety related services.
- Lead the analysis of safety trends and issues and develop proactive safety awareness material in conjunction with the relevant business units.
- Prepare Ministerial reports and briefing materials on a range of infrastructure, safety issues.
- Contribute to the development of team members by providing guidance and support, including on the job training.
- Regularly liaise with stakeholder groups to ensure services managed by the unit/team(s) meet their needs.
